Inphinity Online Breakout Session:

Qlik Beyond Dashboards – Extending Qlik Capabilities

Inspirational talk for developers and architects about how we went far beyond dashboards with Qlik implementation in a large financial company to save them a lot of time and money.

You will discover how we used Qlik’s advantages to solve three bottlenecks in data processing across departments:

  • Datamart (automated ETL processes)

Data preparation from multiple systems has been solved by automated ETL processes with additional customization possibilities such as adding new data sources, define specific data cleaning rules, etc. The whole architecture is based on complex subroutines and input files in a multilayer architecture. Thanks to this Qlik-only solution, full data lineage is available in the custom data management app.

  • Monthly closure automation

Our goal in this project was to ensure one single source of data across departments during the closure processing. The whole workflow (including integration with an external LLP calculator) is managed by a system of Qlik apps related to different steps in the monthly closure processing.

  • Qlik, JIRA & two other systems integration

The most technically challenging requirement was to build the almost real-time integration point between JIRA and two other systems with Qlik using REST, SOAP and WebHooks.

For those, who were registered for Qlik World and missed our breakout session or would like to watch it again, it’s now available on-demand.

Unfortunately, there was no live Q&A session this year. Because of this, we decided to organize one about our session Qlik Beyond Dashboards – Extending Qlik Capabilities 😉

For more, feel free to contact us and/or schedule a demo with Maria Sandorova and Tomas Janco!

Integrating Qlik Sense, Qlik Alerting and Writeback Delivers Safer Patient Care

Hear how the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust (UHMB) is taking analytics to the next level by using Qlik Alerting and write-back functionality (via Inphinity Forms) to embed analytical solutions into staff workflow.  The use of Qlik Alerting is driving a culture change within the organization and supporting the scaling of analytics, engagement with new staff groups, and the development of Qlik Sense solutions that are supporting clinical and operational delivery.

Integrating Qlik Alerting into our suite of Analytical Command Centre apps is the natural evolution, we can push global alerts to staff phones and empower managers and clinicians to self-serve alerts where they know they need to be prompted to take action.  Immediately the concept of a healthcare command centre has changed.  It can be physical, and virtual, and we’re able to empower staff to engage with data in a meaningful way and to take data-driven decisions on-the-go.

Within this breakout session you’ll see real-life examples of Qlik Alerting and write-back being utilised to evolve the success of the UHMB Qlik Sense Command Centre, to manage clinical content within the Trust’s EMR (Electronic Medical Record), to deliver workforce management solutions and to drive-down data quality errors through the concept of a ‘Patient Safety Net’.  Analytics is changing, our focus is shifting to one where we deliver clinical and operational solutions that are embedded within workflow and tangibly support the delivery of better patient care.
