Integrating Qlik Sense, Qlik Alerting and Writeback Delivers Safer Patient Care
Hear how the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust (UHMB) is taking analytics to the next level by using Qlik Alerting and write-back functionality (via Inphinity Forms) to embed analytical solutions into staff workflow. The use of Qlik Alerting is driving a culture change within the organization and supporting the scaling of analytics, engagement with new staff groups, and the development of Qlik Sense solutions that are supporting clinical and operational delivery.
Integrating Qlik Alerting into our suite of Analytical Command Centre apps is the natural evolution, we can push global alerts to staff phones and empower managers and clinicians to self-serve alerts where they know they need to be prompted to take action. Immediately the concept of a healthcare command centre has changed. It can be physical, and virtual, and we’re able to empower staff to engage with data in a meaningful way and to take data-driven decisions on-the-go.
Within this breakout session you’ll see real-life examples of Qlik Alerting and write-back being utilised to evolve the success of the UHMB Qlik Sense Command Centre, to manage clinical content within the Trust’s EMR (Electronic Medical Record), to deliver workforce management solutions and to drive-down data quality errors through the concept of a ‘Patient Safety Net’. Analytics is changing, our focus is shifting to one where we deliver clinical and operational solutions that are embedded within workflow and tangibly support the delivery of better patient care.
